Locality ’11: Communities ambitious for change

Save the date for the very first national convention from Locality, the UK’s leading network of communities ambitious for change.

With over 500 community-led regeneration practitioners and supporters expected to attend, Locality ’11 will be the largest event of its kind across the country. This will be an opportunity to discuss the latest issues affecting communities across the UK; network with like-minded individuals; and find out more about how Locality is promoting community enterprise support, asset ownership and development, social action, local community engagement, community organising, community-led planning and much more.

Who should attend
Locality ‘11 is ‘must go’ event for all Locality members and anyone else who is transforming, or looking to transform, their local area through community enterprise, social action and community asset ownership and development. Others who will benefit include:

  • Local community-based organisations
  • Social enterprises
  • Local VCS groups
  • National third sector support bodies
  • Local and national government
  • Policy-makers and think tanks
  • Academics interested in social policy
